Hello!
I've been trying to get handoff to work on my hackintosh as what I've read it should be possible with my wifi and bluetooth card. I've installed all the required kexts and applied 5Ghz and handoff patch to IOBluetoothFamily.kext and IO80211Family.kext.
When I look at my bluetooth at system information app It clearly says that handoff is supported and that it is in fact bluetooth 4.0. Also wifi is shown as Airport Extreme. I've tried disabling and enabling handoff on my OSX and iOS couple of times but it doesn't have any effect.
I think I'm missing something here but cannot figure out what. I've been googling around for a while but haven't found anything useful.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks!
EDIT: I dont know how and why I posted this to yosemite laptop support. If mod could move it to El Capitan support that would be great.
