Hello!

I've been trying to get handoff to work on my hackintosh as what I've read it should be possible with my wifi and bluetooth card. I've installed all the required kexts and applied 5Ghz and handoff patch to IOBluetoothFamily.kext and IO80211Family.kext.

When I look at my bluetooth at system information app It clearly says that handoff is supported and that it is in fact bluetooth 4.0. Also wifi is shown as Airport Extreme. I've tried disabling and enabling handoff on my OSX and iOS couple of times but it doesn't have any effect.

I think I'm missing something here but cannot figure out what. I've been googling around for a while but haven't found anything useful.

any help would be appreciated.

thanks!

EDIT: I dont know how and why I posted this to yosemite laptop support. If mod could move it to El Capitan support that would be great.

Did you log out of iCloud, then log back in on all of your devices?

Did you install BrcmPatchRAM properly?

Yes I logged out and then back in. Still same problem

And i believe I did install BrcmPatchRAM properly

since I have el capitan I installed BrcmPatchRam2 and BrcmFirmwareRepo to S/L/E.
FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext also installed in S/L/E

All devices must be using the same iCloud account. And handoff must be enabled in settings.

Post ioreg as ZIP: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

And output from:
Code:
kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu
kextstat|grep -y applelpc
kextstat|grep -y applehda

Also, post EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (press F4 at main Clover screen before collecting). Please eliminate 'themes' directory, especially if you have an overabundance of themes installed. Provide only EFI/Clover, not the entire EFI folder.

Also post output of:
Code:
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /

Compress all files as ZIP. Do not use external links. Attach all files using site attachments only.

I only have one iCloud account and all of my devices are logged in to that.

Make sure you:
- log all devices out of iCloud (do not log them back in yet)
- log all devices back into iCloud

Restore the two kext above to vanilla. Use Clover patches instead.

Note that your bluetooth controller, 13d3:3404 does not seem to have very good compatibility with OS X (based on reports in these forums).

should i restore IO80211Family.kext back to vanilla also?

In post #5, it does not show as patched. But if you replaced it (with a version from an older OS X?), you should restore it.

Wireless BCM94352-110-v4.0c.command from toleda's thread made a backup of it to my desktop after using it. So I assumed something was changed to it.

The plugin inside it, AirPortBrcm4360.kext, is likely patched by that script.
