I have nice setup with my HP EliteBook 850 G5 and latest OpenCore. Everything works well expect no that nice battery life.

I can get around half time of Windows battery life. I went tru all Open Core guides including USB mapping. I don't know what is wrong. Here is my setup - https://github.com/kecinzer/hpelitebook850g5-opencore

Can someone help me what to try or what is done wrong?

Hi! Actually im using your EFI with some tweaks (luka-diplomski) and have almost the same battery life as in windows :)

I guess you used this script according to Dortania guide https://github.com/fewtarius/CPUFriendFriend ? And you specified lowest setting of 800mhz and the rest default values for modern MacBook Pro?

Can you check if your CPU drops to 800mhz in idle (Intel power gadget/iStat).
Also check using IOregistryexplorer if your CPU has correctly set plugin-type=1.. should be in the right window when you click on CPU0 or PR00 in the left one.

Both works for me. CPU can idle on 800MHz and plugin-type is correctly set.
Now I playing with EC/USBX.
