Backlight control stopped working after update to 10.15.5

Right after I installed the latest update, the backlight slider disappeared under settings. I'm hoping someone could take a look at my configuration and let me know if I need to change something to get it working again. Thanks!

Fixed it by changing to 14,3 MacBook Pro

What guide did you use to get Catalina up and running on your Acer R5-571TG? I'm running into some issues during the install process.
