Auto Sleep if monitor shutdown

Dear all,

i'm using Maverick as my Server OS right now.
and i'm looking for upgrade it to EI Capitan because Maverick doesn't sync with my Notes with photos.

before i upgrade it, i would like to know if there's any method i can use to prevent auto sleep/shutdown when i switch off my Monitor? I already using "fit headless", but this problem still happen sometimes.

Here's my spec and current config.
Gigabyte Z97n-wifi
CPU Xeon E3-1265Lv3
display - on board
System Definitions: 14,2

I don't have your exact parts, but I have an El Capitan machine that I leave on all the time. I set it to do not go to sleep in System Configuration / Energy Saver, and the machine stays up even when the monitor turns off. It works fine that way.
