Latest version of what?
If OS X, do not expect a native solution, ever.
CodecCommander is the only solution, currently.

I meant the latest version of the Clover ALC Command line fix.

I am not expecting a native solution. I understand that we are working with unsupported hardware, and realise the twists and turns you guys have to work out, to get working solutions. I am truly grateful.

Thanks for the info...

Hi guys,

I have tried Toleda's guides 2. X99/Intel High Definition Audio... He wrote

  • Note: cloverALC removes the x99 patch, reinstall x99 patch

Not sure what "reinstall x99 patch" means... How do I reinstall it??

After changing the config.plist I can't boot into El Capitan anymore. Any ideas?

Thank you!

The answer is either of the 2 bullets above the note.
However, cloverALC no longer removes the patch, Note removed.

Thank You :)
I have Realtek 887 inboard :)
I built an i5 760 lynnfield (Clover Legacy) EL Capitan 10.11.4 , and i used :
1) Backing up my native AppleHDA.kext
2) Realtek ALC AppleHDA Scripts : 3rd option (PikeralAlpha..)

and the sound is working out of the box :) Back and Front with layoutID = 1

Cheers

I have
No. Intel 100 Series is Skylake motherboards only. HD4000 is Intel 7 series, no 7 series motherboard supports 1150.
I have Gigabyte Z97-D3H Motherboard With Intel Core I7-4790 [none K Seires] and when I use ALC 1150 + Optional 3.1 port (5.1 Speakers) I get Only My Whole Speakers Working But The Issue Is With My Internal Microphone I don't hear Sound From it when i record AnyVideo .
