Audio not working heeellllpppp

Hi so I have these parts
DFI LANPARTY DK P45-T2RS Plus Motherboard
Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz CPU
DDR2 PC2-5300 4GB 667MHz RAM
GeForce 8800 GT 512MB Graphics Card
Samsung Super WriteMaster DVD Writer 24X SH-224 (

and the the audio does not work I have tried the reilteck alc889a/885
and I get the error about the voodoohda kept installed improperly.?

is there any alternative drivers?

Sorry cant help you , but I have one of these mother boards sitting around didn't know what to do with it as windows drives are hard to get wondered how you went in the end getting it up and running wonder if you could add a sound card of some sorts to by pass the problem

I install snow leopard on the same board DFI lan party JR same no sound off PC speakers Ill try in the next couple of days with a optical out cable off the mobo to a Z5500 speaker system I did a install of windows on the same MOBO last night( different hard drive) and its has no sound off the PC speakers also found some drivers off the DFI site to suit windows including chip set
How did you go so far with sound ?

Anybody that has audio problems should seriously look at getting a cheap USB audio convertor to use if onboard audio is not working well.
