Audio not working after using MB

Hello.
I've installed ALC8xxHDA & AppleHDA Rollback in order to get my sound working, since my motherboard has an ALC888/ALC892 by Gigabyte's webside, but for some reason sound still isn't working for me. I've used a patched DSDT as requiered.

I've tried it with a Non-DSDT HDAEnabler, just in case DSDT is not patched currectly. I have an ALC888 ( that's what the os said and manufacturer's site aswell ). still not working.
when going to system preferences->sound->output it said "No output devices found", although, as mentioned, the system does recgonize my built in audio ( About this Mac->More info...->Audio(Built In).

Any ideas?

I had the same problem with a RealTek ALC272 codec on a 10.6.0 with MultiBeast. I started over and even updated to 10.6.6 and audio still works so I'm curious what MultiBeast changes and would like to learn how to use it better or how to restore the audio driver/kexts myself manually with help from other.

If I wanna run MultiBeast till I get the right audio config, do I need to re tick all the other things each time or just only what I wanna test? If I keep adding kexts / drivers that don't work do I need to remove them myself or are they being deleted each time I run it? If noting works how do I fully uninstall everything MultiBeast did to my original system other then a image restore. Or can I just replace only the audio related stuff from the original saved files?

What does it mean when it says in MultiBeast to "install with utility system task"?

Hi, I have the same mainboard too (GA-P43T-ES3G rev 1.3). I never hear sound on mac os. I trayed everything. All VoodoHDA versions. Too many alc888, 892 kext. But no result. I Tryed this on mac os 10.6.5 and 10.6.6. Is anyone can direct we. i really appreciate it.

* iBoot 2.6 retail 10.6.0 install, reboot with iBoot, install 10.6.6 combo
* after install boot again with iBoot and prepare DSDT for this board (it is P43T, not P43) using DSDT Auto-patcher
* take your newly prepared DSDT and patch it again using HDEF_Gigabyte.zip from Autopacher page, this time adding HDEF for ALC892
* start Multibeast 3.2 and use UserDSDT method with your prepared DSDT, and include following choices
* Chameleon RC5 prerelease
* GraphicsEnabler=No - I mean really "No"! otherwise black screen
* LAN: Lnx2Mac's RTL81xx
* Audio: ALC8xxHDA macman, no need for enabler, but add 10.6.2 Rollback
* IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector
* JMicronATA, VoodooPS2 if you want (PS2 in multibeast is 32bit)
* MacPro3,1 smbios plist
* install tonymac Nvidia update (fermi drivers GT430)
* add EFI string for GT430 nvcap DVI/DVI choose correct RAM size
* all other OOB, including Sleep (without any sleepenabler)
