I'm installing on a HP Probook 450 G1. I completed a new El Capitan install using the guide for 10.11 and ran post-installation in Multibeast but still had keyboard, trackpad, sound and video problems. I got the keyboard and trackpad working using rehabman's guide and loaded via kextbeast. However, I still have audio and video problems.

Audio is not recognized at all, but is enabled in the bios. I've tried several different kext, but I'm afraid I'm too uninitiated to understand the difference. I've included my system profile below using the EtreCheck tool. (still no mention of type of audio)

Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

EDIT:

Hardware Information....

https://www.cnet.com/products/hp-probook-450-g1-15-6-core-i5-4200m-4-gb-ram-750-gb-hdd/specs/

I believe the codec is IDT 92HD91 (listed on the link above)

Any suggestions as to the proper post-install actions needed for audio?

Your laptop has a guide.

RehabMan - in the guide to make the USB install (here) there is a step you outline to copy over the HFSPlus.efi to /EFI/CLover/drivers64UEFI. However, there is no /EFI folder on the usb after the clover install. Should I create this path manually?

**Edit** I now see this in the EFI partition. My confusion.

Best to use MBR/2-partition such that your EFI/Clover is on the "CLOVER EFI" partition.
That way it is automatically mounted when you insert the USB.
GPT/1-partition works also, but it is a bit of a pain to mount EFI manually.

I'm following the guide with option one (MBR with a FAT32 partition for Clover and a separate HFS+J partition for the OS X installer.). However, when I boot from usb the boot process hangs after a few minutes. When booting in verbose mode I get the following output at the point where it freezes...

Any ideas?

"Problem Reporting" files are incomplete.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.
