Here are the required files. I put the config.plist file up on its own as I wasn't sure I'd edited it correctly. I'll make sure I include all files next time.

I don't have a dsdt.aml or ssdt.aml in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/Patched/ I do have SSDT-HDEF-1.aml and SSDT-HDMI-HD4000.aml both of which I've uploaded just incase.

Remove EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/Patched/SSDT_HDEF-1.aml
Install ssdt_hdef-1-hdmi-with_ioreg:hdef.zip
Reply with new files.

1 Description of HDMI audio problem

1. No input or output devices listed in System Preferences -> Sound. The Volume control slider is disabled.
2. However, in About this Mac, System Report, there are devices listed under Audio (S/PDIF, Line output, External microphone, Headphone)
3. After reboot, when I reran the audio_cloverHDMI-120_v1.0d.command, it displayed that there "No HDMI audio codec(s) detected, continue”. Not sure why.

Please help.

Motherboard: GA-X58A-UD3R (Rev 2.0)
BIOS Version: FH
Processor: intel Core i7 (Gen1) 4 cores

3 Procedure/Guide Used

Specific Steps followed:

1 Mount EFI
2 SIP enabled, OK. (Don’t know what this means and hence did not do anything)
3 Intel: HDMI display only, disconnect DP display
4 Double click: Downloads/audio_cloverHDMI-1....command
5 Answer y/n questions
6 Password
7 Restart

As advised, installed new SSDT after removing the old one. Rebooted. Still with the same problem as originally reported.
Attaching the new files

Two things I noticed.

1. In the EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/Patched, [email protected] was present. I removed it before running the above steps. Please let me know is this OK.
2. Though my Graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 5700, About this Mac->System Report reports it as ATI Radeon HD 5000.

And then you ran cloverHDMI; no surprise the same thing happened again.
See Post #2990; 2 instructions, nothing more.
Try again.

It is, 4 times. 1 DPCIManager screenshot is sufficient.

mDP audio

Script: Confirm DP to HDMI connector edit on port 0x5 (y/n): y
Assuming the DP is port 0x5 IOReg), patching the connector disables DP audio.

tried the clover HDMI command but doesn't worked

This thread only supports Post #1 methods, attach files with another method, why?
Remove cloverALC install, see Realtek ALC AppleHDA/See Post #1/Uninstall Realtek ALC AppleHDA/1. cloverALC

config.plist missing
boot log shows: [Rename HDAS to HDEF]: pattern 48444153, patched at:
Disables Intel HDMI audio, remove.

Reply with all requested files.

Very silly of me.

Rebooted the machine. Checked EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched. Only [email protected] and DSDT.aml are present in that folder.

Reattaching files please.

As the methods are listed:

2. ssdt
