Audio - HDMI Audio AppleHDA [Guide]

I changed the kabel once more time to the 1st DP and I got an audio... no volume control though ;-) Display is Benq BL3201PT. There's something wrong though... every second boot audio goes back to the internal port and no HDMI is available. Then I need to reboot the system. Any idea how to fix it and turn on the volume control? I attach ioreg from the state where HDMI audio was available. I've got also many identical (to me) kexts. Is it ok?

Hi ,

HDMI audio isn't working or not appearing under Sound Output options.

Thanks in advance.

IOReg shows all audio working, not helpful. Attach IOReg with problem.
No HDMI volume control in macOS, use display volume control.

Not correct. Ignored Post #2900
Attach edited dsdt.
"dsdt problem, see Post #2859
edit Device (D053) to Device (D054)
Reply with new files."

Never had D053 to change to D054 Ive triple checked and ran Find D053 if you see it post the line it can be found out because it starts at D054 in the files I've been attaching.

Missed the point, edit the Device name for your dsdt; specifically:
Remove 5 lines as shown. Compile, save as DSDT.aml, install to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched, restart. Reply with new files.
Code:
        BNUM,   8,

                Device (D054)
                {
                    Name (_ADR, Zero)
                }

Thank you so much Toledo - HDMI audio is working finally !

To my limited knowledge these may have been the only files /views that have been updated . Please let me know if there's anything else.
