could just so kindly post what would be the step equivalent to Chimera/Yosemite to make HDMI work.

Every guide provides kext patching and Clover patching. Suggestion, look before posting.

Both DP and HDMI monitors are working with audio.

0x16220002: HD6200/GT3 (confirmation needed with native iMac16,1 IOReg)
0x16120003: HD5600/GT2

Big difference in specs. Have you run Benchmarks with both framebuffers?
If no difference, no issue.
If difference, edit both 0x16220002 connectors to look the same as working 0x16120003.

Benchmarks are almost identical.

0x16220002 - Cinebench OpenGL = 48.58fps Luxmark = 2830
0x16120003 - Cinebench OpenGL = 48.30fps Luxmark = 2885

Curious if you've tested 0x16120003 with the patch from Post#860 on your port layout?
As for the native iMac16,1 IOReg, I would like to see which framebuffer is used/loaded.

Newly built machine running El Capitan perfectly except for HDMI audio. Machine specs are:

MSI Z77MA-G45 motherboard (7-series, Realtek 892 on-board audio)
Intel Core i5-3570k (Ivy Bridge, HD4000 GPU)
8 GB ram
120 GB Intel 520 SSD

What I have done:
1) Ran audio_clover-ALC110 script. Chose 892 codec, audio ID 3, enable HD4600 audio, and rebooted. No audio.
2) Followed AppleHDA guides. Copied SSDT-3.aml from ssdt_hdef-3-with_ioreg-hdef to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/PATCHED and renamed to SSDT.aml. Still no audio.
3) (from other thread) Made kext edits from AppleHDA guide. Still no audio.

I also do not have HDMI or Display Port audio device in Sound (see attached screenshot). IOReg attached. Thanks for your help.

So I assume I am missing the framebuffer edits. Followed the instructions, found display0 listed in GFX0-AppleIntelFramebuffer@1. The port-number in that frame buffer is 0x6, so I dl'ed and executed the graphics_intel_hd4k-capri-a-90_patch.command. Received the error below.

Hi, i have brix pro and installed el capitan.
The dp and hdmi are working but the hdmi audio not working.
the onboard audio are working.
the graphic card is iris pro hd5200.
what i need to do to fix it ?

I had HDMI audio working before until I switched to Clover and updated to El Capitan yesterday. The HDMI output is not available in my Sound pref pane.

I'm on El Capitan 10.11.2. Gigabyte H81M-HD3 with a i3-4330/HD 4600 graphics.
Followed the HD4600-hdmi_audio_(dsdt_or_ssdt)_v3 guide.

Step 1: Used audio_CloverALC and audio_CloverHDMI
Step 2: Added ssdt.aml in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched

Went through the troubleshooting part of the guide. Found HDEF with layout-id 1, IGPU@2 with AppleIntelAzulController & AAPL,ig-platform-id <03 00 22 0d> but was unable to find HDAU@3.

Would really appreciate your help.
