Hello Toleda,

I am in desperate need of help for my sound on my Sabertooth P67 with 3602 bios & i7. I did have sound working on my system with the bios 1850, but as soon as I updated the bios I lost sound. I originally used clover ALC install and it worked.

Right now, I do see the Intel sound in the profile with Audio 1 but no sound. I have tried several things including loading different kext in the S/L/E folder, etc. Nothing for two days. I know my problem is not hardware.

I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

I'm sorry, I cannot find another injection. Is it done automatically by Clover? Can you otherwise please give me a hint?

I did replace AppleHDA.kext with a stock version from my MacBook; reboot - BOOM, sound is working.

Unfortunately, after the next reboot, it stopped working - no audio device in system preferences.
I tried several reboots, it never showed up again. I didn't change anything on the system since them.

Only thing I did is placing AppleHDA.kext from MacBook El Capitan with Kext Utility. After reboot, sound was working (see Quote), but only once.

Within the config.plist (Clover), there is section that patches AppleHDA - don't know where this one comes from. Temporarily tried without those Clover Patches, but same result.

Not likely. AppleHDA.kext is native. Bad idea to edit patches. Run cloverALC-110

1. I don't know which method is still installed. I deleted EFI/Clover/kexts/10.11/HDMIAudio.kext How do I get rid of the other method?
