Audio - HDMI Audio AppleHDA [Guide]

Ok thank you,

ill try my best to provide everything you need.

1. I installed using Multibeast. Chimera Bootloader and needed Kexts.

-after reboot i have Mainbord Audio through installing the Current 887 & 888 Kext from Multibeast.
- I then attach the DSDT into the Extras folder.
- After Reboot i have HDMI but no Mainboard sound and Sleep doesn't work.
- I manually added the C6 State and wake to the boot.plist but Sleep doesn't work.
- I then installed Chameleon over Chimera via Chameleon wizard and added all things i need.
- After Reboot i have No HDMI, Mainboard sound works, Sleep works.
-Once i delete ACPICodec out of modules its back to where only HDMI is working but no sleep or Mainboard sound.

So i think ACPI is needed for sleep otherwise it would work without it.

Main board sound is also fine to have. But its like the DSDT is getting bypassed by it or something.

My Specs Are:

I5 3570K
Z77 DS3H
GTX 670 AMP
Chameleon Bootloader
Yosemite 10.10.1

ACPI is installed because without it sleep is not working.

I hope this is the right file you need saved it with IO Explorer.

i don't know what to do at step 5. of the Problem report.

I have saved the file while ACPI was not installed. Ill add another one with it installed.
 
Hope i understand right, that you want me to check if Audio is activated in BIOS?

It is Its working once the ACPI is back and Sleep also works then.

In Windows Audio is also there.

This is the IOREg when the ACPI is installed and Mainboard Audio is working but no HDMI.

Mainboard audio is also working without ACPI installed but then the DSDT also has to be removed otherwise it turns into HDMI.

Maybe my chameleon settings are wrong.

Do i need HDAEnabler?

Should i mark enable HDMI Audio?

Do i need HDEF and HDAU layout? HEDEF i have...

All the required injection is in the dsdt, no need for Chameleon to do anything; remove.
ACPI library disables the dsdt edits, find an alternate sleep solution; remove.

Any hints to what that solution could be?

Also there is no Mainboard output.

I need both HDMI and Normal Audio to choose from.

Is that changeable or will it always have to be like this?
 
Ok,

i deleted The ACPI. HDMI is back but mainboard sound gone.

ill look elsewhere for a sleep fix.

Please tell me if it should be possible to have mainboard sound + Nvidia selectable in sound peferences.

Then my dsdt edits would be wrong. In the guide there is something about layout id which defines if its HDMI only as i understand.


Im really lost here since i dont know if the thing i want to achiebv is even possible.

If you say Mainboard audio and nvidia should bouth be selectable with right kext and edits i at least know its not working right.
