I have the same setup I had before which is a Denon Amp connected to a Phillips tv monitor.
I tried to connect direct to the Phillips monitor by HDMI with the same results.
There are no other displays connected.

IOReg shows 2 "displays" connected. AppleHDA.kext supports 1 HDMI audio output.
Remove 1 "display", run script

After upgrading to Sierra with HD4000 and gigabyte z77-ds3h and clover i cannot enable the hdmi...
When running the latest patch for sierra it simply does not add any hdmi entry to preferences...
here is my config.plist and the terminal output...
If i hit no at the question "Confirm DP to HDMI connector edit on port 0x7 (y/n)" then i don't get the error in the terminal but again no hdmi shows up at the preferences!
Any help Toleda?
