ATI or Nvidia?

Going to be building a hackintosh in the next week or so if I can decide which graphics card to choose.

From doing a bit of research and reading the graphics card database it looks like the nvidia cards require less effort to get working and are better compatible?

I'm looking for a graphics card that supports both dual DVI and dual DisplayPort which works pretty much straight out of the box.

Whats steps did you carry out to get your card to work, or did it work out of the box?

now work out of the box.joust download these kext http://www.kexts.com/view/1141-ati_beta.html .Instal combo update 10.6.7 do not restart.delite all ati kext,and instal this beta ****.this is kexts from lion i think.i do the same thing and work perfect 5870 e6 2gb vram.sorry on bad english.
