I'm reading people talking about using the 7950 for windows and the onboard GPU for ML can't this work?
Don't want to give up this card

Man i have same trouble. Have radeon hd 7950 and hd 3000. I do not know how to disable detection ati card. First i install without 7950, install all kext. But then install back 7950 in the pc system. I have the error screen. If u know it, pls send the instruction.

As far as I know you cannot have the card installed if you want to run OS X properly. I remember discussions about it where the closest you got was having in the slot, but not connecting power to it. But I could be wrong.
