Hi guys!

I heed a little help. Mountain Lion detects my ProBook 4530s wi-fi card but it doesn't work (can't find any wireless networks). I just updated 10.8.0 to 10.8.2 successfully, ML runs perfectly but wi-fi isn't working, on 10.8.0 didn't worked either. I'm pressing little wi-fi button above the keyboard but nothing happens.
Sry about grammar mistakes.

Any ideas?

Do you actually have the Atheros WiFi card?

I just found that wi-fi can find wireless networks only when I disconnect LAN cable from my 4530s. I reinstalled Atheros kexts many times and nothing is changing. :/
I installed ML 3rd time on my laptop, but in previous installations LAN and wi-fi worked fine together. But I think it's not the worst that can be.

Check your BIOS settings, that sounds like the most obvious solution.

I am having the exact same problem. Its nuts, I know the card is working as it does in Ubuntu and windows partitions.

What kind of card is it? Atheros or not?

worked like a charm! i changed a mark status under "WIFI/LAN switching" in bios and it worked

Thanks!

put or remove a mark into the box "WIFI/LAN switching (or something like that)" in BIOS. it was under "System configuration" i think!
