just bought the Asus Zenbook UX330UA:

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...n-on-asus-ux330ua-skylake-clover-uefi.204479/

but applied the DSDTs PATCHES by this order in this post here #59 (credits to Shinji3rd)
and was able to install with this ktexts:

FakePCIID,
FAKEPCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics
FakeSMC
SATA-100-series-unsupported
OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi
& HPSPlis.efi in the drivers64UEFI folder
Used config.plist HD620 kabylake profile with Skylake glitch fix

Replaced the WIFI card for the Broadcom DW1560 - BCM94352Z
Add FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext v1.3.3 in El capitan. updated to V1.3.7 to use in High Sierra.

- Battery Fixed with ACPIBatteryManager.kext and DSDT patch battery fix Asus N55/vivobook by Rehabman

- Audio
works with patched voodooHDA.ktext(version 2.8.8), AppleHDADisabler.kext and AppleALC.kext
(added to config.plist the option: Devices / Audio / inject / detect)

UPADATE to macOS High Sierra 10.13.2
- updated APFS.efi

TRACKPAD with multi-touch:
- works with VoodooI2C.kext (ELAN1200 version v1.0.4)
- delete all AppleIntelLpss ktext files from S/L/E

- navigating

- 2 fingers right click
- 2 fingers vertical/horizontal scrolling
- 3 fingers(up/down) mission control

NOT WORKING
- SLEEP SCREEN FIX (Screen won´t turn on after sleep)

Hello All,

just bought the Zenbook UX330:

- Intel® Core™ i5-7500U Dual Core
- 8 GB LPDDR3
- 500GB SSD M.2
- Audio by ICEpower® Sonic Master

I followed some UX305FA and UX305CA Guides and have been able to install macOS Sierra 10.12.3 with clover EFI
with this ktexts:
OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi and HPSPlis.efi in the drivers64UEFI folder
FakePCIID,
FAKEPCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics
FakeSMC
USBinjectall
GenericUSBXHCI
SATA-100-series-unsupported
Used the Rehabman config.plist 520 kaby lake profile.

Not Working at all:

- Keyboard and trackpad
(tryed voodoops2keyboard, applePS2keyboard and ApplePS2SmartTouchPad ktexts) with no luck at all.

- Audio (code coomander, and VoodooHDA not work)

- Battery error

Anyone as this model and did have more sucess then me?.

Thanks in advance

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.

Pay attention to the Kaby Lake info in the FAQ. It is important.

update:
keyboard works with the VoodooPS2Controller (read the installation guide)
if I use the voodooPS2Controller kext in the cloverEFI's other folder it will give me a Karnel Panic.

hy rehabman,

i think i´ve decompiled all files correct (removed SSD-2.aml because it did not worked with IASL decompiler)

i´ve having a problem with my DSDT.dsl, without patches it shows me this error:

line 209, error 6074 Name already exist in scope (BNUM)

BNUM, 8

should i just delete this entire line?

I´ve attached my *aml & *dsl

best

I tested the Asus N55SL/VivoBook in SSDT-1 (related to GFX0) and it gave me 0 errors.

should i apply this patch to this SSDT or it must be in the DSDT?

Use additional patch for B0C3 in _BIX:
Code:
into_all method label _BIX code_regex \(B0C3, replaceall_matched begin (B1B2(XC30,XC31), end;

Use additional patch for B0C3 in _BIX:

It worked, no errors. i will notify you if it works out ok.
best regards

Hello again,
with the DSDT patched the ux330 booted faster, brightness buttons works,
but did not fixed the battery, maybe the Asus vivobook patch is not for this laptop or i´m doing something wrong.
I´m using the ACPIbatterymanager.ktext that instead of showing 0% warning only changed to a cross in my menu icon.
