Greetings,
This lifelong Mac user/buyer (since 1986) gave up on waiting for Apple to release a 'basic' laptop. Something that simply surfed, emailed, Netflix-d -- all without breaking the bank. I know an iPad kinda does this, but without mouse support and a bigger screen it also DOESN'T do this.
I had hopes for the new MacBook to be something like the ZenBook 305 -- since they have nearly identical spec. I knew Mac wouldn't release such an item for $699 -- but I presumed they wouldn't dare go over $999. But of course they did. Because Apple is Apple and the $1299 price is pure heroin for them.
Anyway -- I tried my best to make sure this question wasn't already addressed -- but it's a simple one. In general, what are the odds of someone Hackintoshing this Intel Core M baby? I'd never try it myself first because I'm decent at tinkering but not at the level of most of you.
What I'm asking is do you think peeps like you will be able to hackintosh this baby? Or are there hardware issues that will likely rule it out?
Just curious. Thanks for your help.
