Hi,

after I installed Mac OS X on almost all our family laptops, I now have a problem with my fathers Ivy Laptop using Intel HD4000.
I can't get the installer to boot on it. I created the installer using Unibeast, then I put this config plist https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/config_HD4000_1366x768.plist into the clover folder to boot (of course I deleted the old one and renamed this one). Using OsXAptioFix2Drv-64.efi always gave me an error message that kernel cache could not be loaded. Using OsXAptioFixDrv-64.efi it boots, but doesn't get really far. It's stuck at missing bluetooth controller transport and then there is the message still waiting for root device together with the "stop sign". Since this is the first Ivy Laptop I'm trying to install OS X on, I never had experience with that before (only Haswell and Broadwell).

The specs of this Laptop are:

Asus Zenbook using Clover UEFI
i5-3317U / HM76 Chipset
4GB Ram
Intel HD4000, 1366x768

I attached some photos (CPU-Z and verbose photos) and the clover folder I'm using to boot.

"Still waiting for root device" when booting from USB indicates a USB problem.

Make sure you try all USB ports, both with USB2 and USB3 flash drives. Also, FakePCIID+FakePCIID_XHCIMux may be helpful.

I noticed, removing USBInjectAll boots the computer much further. Now, the only problem is, that I'm kinda stuck at DSMOS has arrived when using the ig-platform-id "0x01660003". The ids "0x01660008" and "0x01660009" boot a little further, I can see a mouse pointer for 1 seconds, then the screen goes grey and shows me a grey background with an apple logo and a not moving bar at the beginning. The DVMT allocated memory can be set to 32mb, 64mb (0x01660003, 0x01660008, 0x01660009 need 64mb), 128mb and 256mb. The id "0x01660003" is always stuck at DSMOS has arrived. Even removing the IntelHD kexts as many people wrote here in the forum, booted a little further like "0x01660008" and "0x01660009", but it's also stuck at the grey apple logo.

0x0166xxxx is nonsense for the hardware in your profile (it is for Ivy/HD4000).

Is your profile accurate?

As I said, the Hardware in my profile is the one that I'm using. I'm trying to hackintosh my fathers Laptop, which has the following specs:

Asus Zenbook using Clover UEFI
i5-3317U / HM76 Chipset
4GB Ram
Intel HD4000, 1366x768

Please update your profile to reflect the hardware you're asking about.

Your problem is likely EDID related (read about Clover InjectEDID/CustomEDID).

Do I still need injected intel (inject intel in config plist) and injected ig-platform-id when using injected EDID?

InjectEDID has no effect without Inject/Intel=true.
And CustomEDID has no effect without InjectEDID=true.
