Once installer finish I then install MultiBeast with some of the selection from another tread here at tonymacx86 for the ASUS z97 deluxe

This sounds great. I intend to build a similar setup with a GTX TitanX.
Can you point to the other build that helped with the sound?
Thank you.

@Critycal: This thread is about Clover, not UniBeast. So yeah you don't need these files.

However, can someone repost the proper files for Clover installation? The links at the beginning of the thread are unfortunately broken. I can't get the SSDT.aml

Hi Erik, I have same build Asus Z97 deluxe usb3.1, Intel 4790k and could you please post config.plist file again the previous one has expired regards John

has anyone been able to get a properly working Power Management for this setup working?

I have been having issues getting my fans to increase speed when under load. The CPU temps will climb way past 80c and they never speed up.

I have tried the notes on this guide as well as this one:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...vericks-native-cpu-igpu-power-management.html

But i do not know if i am missing something or not.

This is a real issue at the moment as i want to run some processor intensive utilities, and I cant because of overheating!

Any advice?

Yes I have a perfectly running Yosemite system this exact spec. You need a SSDT to be able to have correct power management. You will find one and a guide on Ramage Dev's page. (google it)

Also you can look at my post as well I have it described there.

Cheers

Has anyone got a Z97 deluxe working properly with El Capitan? Could you let me know what you had to do? I didn't actually try it yet because its my main system and I want to go down a sure path not a voyage of discovery lol!!

I've installed it..
Only have problems with 5Ghz wifi and bluetooth. Still need to figure it out how to fix this.

EDIT:
Managed to fix 5Ghz by using Toleda's guide
"https://github.com/toleda/wireless_half-mini"

Bluetooth path for 10.11 is underway

Audio Issues. Please help anyone? Thank you

Hello.

I have installed yosemite with clover. Im booting from a usb stick. I cant seem to figure out how to get audio. I deleted all my old chimera files that I had installed from a great working Mavericks 10.95. I thought that would help deleting the old chimera files. I have ran multibeast yosemite also with ALC1550 and doesnt work. I also tried ALC892 because someone claimed it worked but it didn't. I followed the AppleHDA8Series.sh directions but that only helped to recognize my apple tv. Please if someone has an easy discription how to get audio (motherboard : Asus z97 PRO wifi-ac ). Any tips would be great. If not I'm going to go back to Mavericks with chimera cause clover seems to be a pain in the ass. Again any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi there, just wondering if you have the usb 3.1 working as well with this board
I am currently at GA Z97 UD5H wit 4790k but have some random reboots. once or twice a week
I had a good few hackingotshes on gigabyte and I am a little tired of gigabyte for now and looking for something new, so maybe the asus z97 deluxe usb3.1 is a good way to go for me.
Is there anything else should I expect with this board compared to gigabyte ?
I am at EL Capitan with everything working except those reboots
I just trying to believe asus will help me to have a 100% working and stabile system
thanks
