Hi guys.

I've installed Mavericks successfully, using this guide:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html

I booted normally, did the disk formatting and everything worked perfectly.

Once the OS installed, i tried booting of the mac harddrive, where i was presented with a never ending white screen, after the Apple Logo disappeared.

Booting with -x next time around allowed me to boot, and finish the install and multi beast install, the resolution of the screen was native, but it was choppy at best.

I selected DsdtEasy in Multibeast as i thought given i have an i7 4770, it fits under that category.

Once all this was done, i tried booting without boot flags into the system.. AGAIN, never ending white screen after Apple Logo disappeared. There is no mouse, nothing.

This is frustrating me, as i have gone through verbose, single user.. everything. must be something else.

has anyone solved this?

Thank you

thank you very much for the reply.

I followed the instructions, and selected my mac drive for boot, it instead booted into my windows install drive. I know i did the instructions perfectly, and aimed the terminal commands onto my mac drive and my efi.

It's as if the computer doent like the drive, it doesn't want to straight boot from it.

So i booted off the usb drive and selected my Mac drive from chameleon.

I also did the boot flag GraphicsEnabler=No which is recommended for my graphics card.

Was left with the same white screen after Apple Logo :(

For Mavericks GraphicsEnabler=No is set as the default:

You can try adding the PCIRootUID=1 flag mentioned in the above link. All boot flags are case sensitive.

You need to be careful when using Windows with OS X. See Going Bald's dual booting guide:

okay so i reinstalled the mac again. this time took out my windows harddrive, unplugged everything but my mouse and keyboard, unplugged all network cables etc.

Same thing happened.

It has to be something with the way the computer is loading a kext right? since i can boot into safe mode no problem?

Thank you

A kext in OS X is the same thing as a driver is in windows. If you boot using -x (safe mode) then there are no kexts/instructions for either graphics and audio.

Did you try using the PCIRootUID=1 flag? If you did you can also try PCIRootUID=0
If you boot using -v and are able to post a good clean readable image of all the text on your monitor once the text has stopped moving, then that may be of further assistance.
You can upload it using the 'manage attachments' feature.

Thank you so much Adrian for your replies. You have so far maintained my hope, and i sincerely hope that i can fix this, with your guidance.

I didnt see any particular times when the text would stop, using either PCIRootUID=1 or 0.. so i recorded videos of each one. Hopefully it is clear enough that the writing is legible.

Hopefully those will help solve it

thank you very much :)

Can you have a look at your UEFI/Bios settings and see if you have VT-d set as disabled? On a Gigabyte board this is under BIOS Features. Leave Intel Virtualization Technology should be left enabled.

I had vd-t already disabled. Turning on virtualization technology didn't do anything :( still white screen
