Asus Z370 Prime + i7-8700k + Vega 54 (Some help needed...)

Is the performance OK for that hardware?

Hi!

This is my first post about my fresh build.
Still in progress with some cosmetic tweakings and issues like JPEG preview.

The build:
Asus Z370-A Prime
Intel Core i7-8700k (no overclocking, Hyper-Threading disabled)
Corsair Vengeance LPX 24Gb 2666Mhz DDR4
Sapphire VEGA RX 56 (flashed to VEGA 64 BIOS, no overclocking)
Samsung 960 EVO M.2 SSD
2xSeagate Barracuda 3TB (RAID 1)
2xIiyama ProLite XB2788QS

I'm using Clover 4658.

Right now I'm trying to figure out some stuff and I hope to get some help from the community (thanks is advance):

1) What is the best SMBIOS definition for my build? -- after some research I decided to leave it as iMac18,3

2) All the sleep functions are disabled but if I don't use my Hack for some time I end up with a black screen and GPU fans on full power. The CPU continues to work OK and I see some disk operations with a flashing LED. Pressing buttons don't help. I got that even before I flashed to VEGA 64 BIOS. -- FIXED with 'sudo pmset -a autopoweroff 0'

3) All my HDD's are shown as folders sometimes except the M.2 SSD and I see Generic AHCI in system profiler. -- FIXED

4)
I can't use 2 DP to connect my displays. I have to use 1 DP and 1 HDMI. -- FIXED with whatevergreen

5) If I try to mount EFI partition (using Clover or diskutil) the system freezes and reboots so I can't make any changes to the Clover drivers and kexts... -- FIXED, had to reformat the EFI partition

Here are some of my test results:
CPU Score (GeekBench)
OpenCL Score (GeekBench)
Luxmark Score
OpenGL Score (Cinebench)
CPU Score (Cinebench)

Try this EFI.

Also, there's no need to disable hyper threading.

Thanks, but SSDT won't fix video freeze...

My point is that you should try my EFI, it’s 100% working. The only difference is SSDT.

I had to disable HT cause I need maximum performance per core for my work.

You link is 0 bytes)

Fixed it.

Enabling hyper threading shouldn't hinder per core performance.

Fixed it.
Thank you Pastrychef! Looks like there is no Quicksync in your config. I ve got almost similar graphics issue as wlcr, screen not blank but freeze, mouse working, hdd blinking. But it happened during high GPU load like video conversion.
