Asus z170k Realtek 887 No audio - Need help Plzzz

Hi,

This may sound like a noob question but I have installed OS Sierra and have gone through all of the post installation however after installing the audio driver and restarting the system, the system will not install anything for the audio. I don't know much about this stuff and have been stuck with this issue for a few days now. I have heard something about kext files but don't really know what they are. I would really appreciate all the help I could get.

Thank you for getting back to me,

I have installed the realtek alc 887 driver for the motherboard which is specified on the manufactures website via multibeast, this did not work so i tried downloading and installing something called voodohda.kext using a piece of software called kext utility

macOS does not support 100 Series audio. Fix:

1. 100 Series/Intel High Definition Audio

Installing 887 audio without 100 series fix results in no audio.

Solution:
MultiBeast > Drivers > Audio > RealtekALCxxx √ ALC887/888b
plus √ 100 Series Audio
