Outstanding! Then, this motherboard maybe worth a serious look if the ASUS Z170 DELUXE meets your requirements. (Too expensive for me.)

Seems to me that Apple might have included support for Z170 and Skylake in their El Capitan build. Maybe they're still working on it themselves. It seems inevitable they will come out with Macs using them.

By the way, MicroCenter seems to have i7 6700K's for walk ins at list price, and Amazon has a seller at $500 each.

You can have a go with OS X El Capitan now but it's not ready for prime time yet and requires a couple of add-on cards. Testing Thread: Skylake Platform in OS X
