Asus X99 PRO wifi is not working in macOS Sierra

Hi,

I think in the Asus X99 PRO the wifi card is BCM4352. I followed this guide:

I did patch the Kext and used Kext Helper to install the Kext and ran the BCM 4352 wifi 5GHz patch as well. After everything is done I restarted the computer and I checked the network the wifi is not there... So frustrated.. Could you please someone help me

Well it seems like I managed to get the WiFi and sound... seriously it was very hard to come to this point. So I will probably write guide how to install macOS Sierra on ASUS X99 Pro.

Really interested in how you got the built-in card working. I have the x99-Pro/USB 3.1, and my card is not working in Sierra.

@jfarabee: My wifi is working fine on the same board in Sierra, after a clean install. Didn't have to do anything either, to my knowledge.

I have ASUS X99-M WS fully functional since Yosemite with WiFi and Bluetooth working.
The Asus supplied WiFi Bluetooth combo card is BCM94360HMB.

For wifi and Bluetooth I installed kext by Rehabman . . .
https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-BrcmPatchRAM

There are 2 kext that need to be installed . . .
BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext
BrcmPatchRAM2.kext.

There are instruction on the github page.

Are you installing on the Asus X99 Pro?
Note that mine is ASUS X99-M WS.

Considering the differences . . .
Have you confirmed your WiFi card is a supported model ?
If RehabMan or anyone else has not mentioned it working,
. . . . . then you will likely have to install a supported card.

Installing the kext is simple,
. . . . .but you should provide more about what you have done.
Are you using Clover or Chameloen (Chimera) ?
Where did you install the kext by RehabMan ?
Etc., etc.

Hey mactition, yes I am installing on the ASUS X99-PRO

I do believe the Broadcom Wifi and bluetooth cards (Broadcom 20702A3 i think) are well supported for Hackintoshes. I had both working very well on my Yosemite installation following this guide with the kexts linked at the bottom. http://jeremywininger.blogspot.com.co/2015/02/asus-x99-pro-motherboard-and-os-x.html

The rehabman post also mentions support for the Broadcom card. To install the system I used clover, but to install these later Rehabman kexts I used Kext utility to install the kexts in the System/extensions folder and to repair permissions.

I have these installed in System>Library>Extensions . . .
BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext version 2.2.7
BrcmPatchRAM2.kext version 2.2.7

Check the version numbers.
If the same and if WiFi was working before it should be now.
Not sure why not, try deleting the ones installed and reinstalling.

Is USB fully functional ?
