at the moment everything seems to be ok with the last update....i'm crossing my fingers!
The only strange thing i noticed but it's related to this bios version (3203) is that if i set ddr at 3200 as i always did with previous bios version, when i switch on pc i've code 00 on display and black screen so i must switch off the pc with button and when it restart i've message that POST was in SAFE mode and press F1 to resume. If i set ram at AUTO or a lower speed than 3200 everything goes well and i've no errors on boot

Forgot but which RAM brand are you using? And are you manually setting to 3200 or with XMP and letting it do it's thing?

You may have the following issues:

1) Bad IMC (Integrated Memory Controller) on your 10980XE
2) Bad RAM
3) Bad tracepaths on your SAGE/10G

So you can try the following to troubleshoot to see what the issue is.

1) Roll back to previous BIOS that was working for you, reset CMOS and then set up XMP.
2) Run MemTest86 to see if there are any errors

If there are errors, try taking out all the RAM modules and adding one, testing, then adding another and testing and so on.

Then if you figure out if it's a bad RAM module, then the BIOS (3202) has nothing to do with it.

If it's not bad RAM modules, then it might be Bad IMC or bad tracepaths on your SAGE/10G.

I've had major issues with certain RAM before on a ASUS Prime Deluxe (And Prime Deluxe II) so I know the pain you're going through. The SAGE/10G board is most likely not the culprit here as it has a little better Quality Assurance than the Prime Deluxe line since it's a workstation mobo.

The X299 series is really a not so great release in general and Intel is to blame here.

I've 128Gb of Corsair Dominator Platinum and this problem appear only with this 3203 bios version. WIth 2002 i've never had that problem with same cpu and same ram so i don't think it's a bad IMC.

Just because a computer can run doesn't mean it's not throwing errors.

Go back to 2002 and run MemTest (With and without XMP on with all default settings) and post results here. You cannot blame the BIOS for memory issues, it's just not the way it works. This is more hardware related.

Also since you're on with 3203 already, see if you can boot with less RAM, such as single modules, two modules and so on. And also run memtest with this BIOS.

When I say bad IMC I'm saying that during the binning process, the IMC isn't of the highest quality and that's more up to the Intel manufacturing process. You might say that it's an expensive CPU and we shouldn't have issues like this, but it's just the way things work. Bad binning is normal and happens all the time and it's not your fault.

You have an issue I have ran into and it wasn't BIOS related. The only way to troubleshoot things is to try all avenues and pin down the issue. We can't make guesses here.

We need to find the culprit here so if you want me to help you please do the above or else I can't really help....and if you are happy with 2002 then stick with it? Do you really need the latest BIOS anyway?

Is this on 3203?

Is this on 3203?
Yes...i switched back to 2002 and i've no problems at all...ram speed at 3200 with xmp is ok and i've no 00 code and post errors. I will stay with this version

Is there a most recent guide that consolidates how to put together an x299 hackintosh?
