Does GenSMbios have to be run on the hackintosh?

I am not sure what to put at this point in GenSMBIOS:

" Please type the SMBIOS to gen and the number of times to generate [max20] (i.e. iMac18,3 5):"

Any mac. Enter MacPro7,1

UPDATE:
I put in: MacPro7,1 and it generated the info above. What do I do with that now? put it in the config.plist?
Do I assume that "Serial" from above relates to "SystemSerialNumber" in the config.plist? and "SmUUID" above is related to "SystemUUID" in the config.plist? Do I just replace the text in the plist with the above text?

Yes, but I would generate another Serial set so no one knows your info.

So in your config.plist (replace 'Removed!!'):

PlatformInfo->DataHub
1. SystemSerialNumber: F5KY9WZ8P7QM
2. SystemUUID: 77A3F4DF-E0CF-4736-A731-93CE9B47473B

PlatformInfo->Generic
1. MLB: F5K908207J9K3F7FB
2. SystemSerialNumber: F5KY9WZ8P7QM
3. SystemUUID: 77A3F4DF-E0CF-4736-A731-93CE9B47473B

PlatformInfo->PlatformNVRAM
1. MLB: F5K908207J9K3F7FB

PlatformInfo->SMBIOS:
1. BoardSerialNumber: F5K908207J9K3F7FB
2. ChassisSerialNumber: F5KY9WZ8P7QM
3. SystemSerialNumber: F5KY9WZ8P7QM
4. SystemUUID: 77A3F4DF-E0CF-4736-A731-93CE9B47473B

EXCELLENT HELP! I redid my numbers so they are not the same as the ones I posted on accident! Thank you....

I have a couple final questions:

Is there any more post install items i need to take care of?
Sidecar will not work, is that correct?
Do you know why I don't have "HandOff" available? (It's an option under the General setting in system Preferences, and it is a part of Sidecar I think...)
when there are updates, do I just grab them?
Will Thunderbolt 3 cards work with this build?
Thank you again! I was fighting with this for a couple months and giving up hope....

@djlild7hina are you aware if changing the serial and UUID info will affect my icloud services? I already got locked out once so now I'm nervous about trying to log in with another number...

I accidentally posted all my numbers (Which I have since erased.) before they were entered into the .plist file, so regenerating them was actually trivial at the time.....

Yes, it will create another device under your icloud. I would remove your hack from icloud before changing.

1. Yes, create a usb kext.
2. No, it either requires a iGPU or a T2 chip. Currently there is no way to get around that.
3. Do you have a Wifi/BT card? If so, which one?
4. Generally, you should check the forum if the latest update is okay before updating. Usually updates are pretty flawless aside for maybe updating kexts and/or newer versions of bootloader. Big updates like upcoming 10.16 may require more adjustments.
5. Yes, thunderbolt works with hot plug. (Follow kgp's guide). If you want full thunderbolt bus and local node support it will require flashing the card (Look at CaseySJ's z390 designare thread)

How about this one? I was thinking of doing another hack; it looks like a decent price as everything has gone up.

Hey man, thanks a lot for your reply. That's one of the boards I've figured out. The other one I'm having my eyes on is this one: https://www.msi.com//Motherboard/X299-PRO-10G

I would actually prefer the last one due to 256GB RAM Support, but for some reason all the builds and guides I've seen use an ASUS board. I assume there is a good reason for this?
