Sorry tonzone, your patched BIOS file is not working.
I get the famous message
"selected file is not a proper BIOS".

Hello
After various challenges, I was able to boot with OC.
However, Ethernet does not recognize both 1G and 2.5G.

IntelMausiEthernet.kext
SmallTreeIntel82576.kext
RealtekRTL8111.kext
I tried.

There seems to be a problem with Pci-e but I can't parse it.
Should I give up on the new x299?
I like the ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II because it looks cool. Lol
The old X299 still sells the PRIME X299A, ROG Strix X299-E Gaming and rog rampage vi extreme omega.

Hm... with the Flash BIOS it would work because FB is a forcing method. Unfortunately, the TUF M2 have no Flash BIOS...hm.
Try this reduced config Plist, it has the MSR Lock patches for Mojave and Cat.

Yes here is the origin of my problem ;-)

Maybe it would be better if you just tell me the patches concerning MSR Lock then I could add them to my original config.plist.
your config.plist is pretty different than mine. I think it's better not changing everything at the same time.
In my config.plist, in ACPI, I have only 2 patches, EC0_ to EC__ and SAT0 to SATA.

tonzone, I tried your config.plist
still got [EB]#LOG:EXITBS:START]

Because you have to use flashback function which your board doesn't have.

But there is also another way to do it from a running windows partition, but you have to extract the necessary part (body) from the rom and flash it afterwards via cmd

It know, it was explained in my first post addressed to you S1lla, #2,131.

I tried in Dos cmd with Afudos and with Flash programming tool, none worked. Before I have extract body of the .cap file with UEFItool to a .rom file. It's very strange because Afudos made the job but after reboot the bios is still the same.
Check my last comment in this video

You have to flash it via cmd and not any DOS related stuff...

Sorry, I've done a lot of research and found nothing about how to flash BIOS with only DOS commands without any tool.
