@izo1 please can you post your OC Efi? I'm trying to configure mine but i'm not able to start...we have same system and conf so it's a good way for me to start with your OC Efi.
Thanks

My latest is still based off of this, with a few minor modifications.

ok now i have " PCI Configuration end bridges 12 devices 124 "

UPDATE : I downgraded Bios with 2002, and now it is working.

Can you please elaborate where do you find Catalina faster than Mojave? I have read contrasting opinions on the internet about Catalina, which is the reason while I decided to go for Mojave.
I do not "find" , I know. I'm talk about speed and power; not about compatibility and bugs(that's people talking about on net). I'm IT repair on PC and Mac, hardware and software and I'm not a hackintosh specialist but in all machines(dual channel platforms Intel Z390 and MacBooks and iMacs) where I have installed Mojave and after a clean installed Catalina I'm observed this on many applications like Cubase, Logic X, Final Cut , etc...even in games. To take advantage with Catalina, especially on Macbooks, the best way is not upgrade but make a clean install.

Hey @izo1 mate! How are you?

i little thought passed my mind: since I switched to open core and I’m having issues updating to 0.5.6 because my efi is working on 0.5.5 but it’s pretty messy with ACPI / SSDTs stuff, could you be so kind to help me understand what’s wrong? I’m willing to switch to Sage 10g if needed, due to the fact my prime x299-a is the weakest component of my build right now. Bottom line: I really need your help ❤

EDIT: I deleted all the old SSDTs and related patches, then I used ACPI samples for SkylakeX (EC-USBX and PLUG) and compiled them with MACIASL and adjusted config.plist accordingly. Resetted NVRAM and tried to boot with no success. Attached latest EFI folder and screen of boot failure in -v mode

When I said “find”, I did not mean “find on the internet”, but what have you found according to your first hand experience.
Thank you for explaining that. I guess I will give Catalina a try in a secondary ssd and check how it performs with the software I use then!

Thank you. After I got that problem sorted, think I may have a bummed board... A basic Windows install won't complete, swapped all parts except CPU and motherboard. First part of install works fine, but hangs on first Windows Boot with Q-code AA, which pretty much means anything ;) Prob will try to RMA it. Much appreciated.

Found out what my problem was, after replacing all hardware, even inspecting CPU pins with a microscope... all except CPU cooler, turned out that it was the cooler causing the problem. On my bench I was a new Noctua Chromax DH-15, and for some reason it was not making perfect contact (bottom warp?) with the CPU and at the moment would lockup in windows boot cycle because of heatup. Anyways replaced the cooler, just attached my corsair AIO on my test bench worked fine. Now I can can try getting opencore and rest of install going before putting in my case a water cooling rig.
