Anyone using any kind of fan control for Catalina?
Would not recommend it.
Set your fan curves in the BIOS or via proper motherboard software in Windows.
Asus AISuite sucks and is bloatware, but the Fan Expert is very good. You can tweak settings and set it then it will be applied to the BIOS and will keep it active in macOS as well.
It takes a while to set the best settings where heat/noise levels are to your comfort level but it's not difficult.
Also remember you can always save your BIOS profile to a USB stick (as a .CMO file) so you don't have to set every setting up again in the future.
