Since the system was almost ready I decided to install the Mojave upgrade, can you believe it that everything is working now?

After that OpenCore was not detecting any drive, I had to change in UEFI->Apfs MinData and MinVersion to '-1' to get them back.

Thanks for everything Feartech, your help was very precious.

glad you got it working!

also your MinData and MinVersion should really be:

macOS Version Min Version Min Date
High Sierra (10.13.6) 748077008000000 20180621
Mojave (10.14.6) 945275007000000 20190820
Catalina (10.15.4) 1412101001000000 20200306

I’m so sad :(

Reinstalled Windows 10 in another partition and after installation one of the optionnal updates installed a new Asus firmware. OpenCore is gone from the boot menu and booting from USB sometimes it freezes in the middle of the loading bar or it starts and when I enter the password it logs out and asks for password again.

Don’t know what to do.

If it helps I have several working builds here which uses the same CPU (8th gen i7) as you:

Clover & OC on High Sierra, Mojave & Catalina

For the Opencore Asus firmware issue you could two things. First is update your OC version to something like OC0.6.5 or greater and check if CFGLock in BIOS has been enabled - if so disable it or unlock this quirk using this guide > https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-unlocking-cfg-with-opencore-and-cfglock-efi.305163/

I had to downgrade the bios to version 310, higher versions enable something that prevents MacOs from booting.
