I am able to get into the installer (finally) thanks to the great guides and help I received from Rehab, but this is a problem I see few posts about and even fewer solutions to. After the installer boots up, I select my language, and open the disc utility, I am greeted only with the unibeast flash drive.
To cover some initial bases: AHCI is enabled(It's the only available option), I have tried the IOATAFamily.kext, the ApplePCIIDE.kext, and I have formatted it as fat32, and left it unformatted with no success. The drive is detected in the bios and in linux (not as generic).
I have already searched through every stickied post, faq, and even remotely similarly worded question that I could possibly find to no avail. Appreciate even a link to something that could be useful. I'd love to put together a guide for this laptop when I gather everything and this is one of the last pieces left. (Haven't seen a single post about this specific laptop anywhere in regards to hackintosh)
