Good day fellow Hackintoshers,
I’m currently planning my first CustoMac build although I’m not sure yet whether I should rather wait for the Cannon Lakes.
Anyway I made a concept lineup for my CustoMac:
ASUS TUF X299 Mark 1 (So. 2066)
Intel Core i7 7820X 8x 3.6GHz
ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Turbo Aktiv 8Gb
Corsair Vengance DDR4-2666 2x16Gb (for now)
SSD Drives
While VGA, RAM, Drives and peripherals shouldn’t be a problem and I know that X299 is usable, I’m not sure about the mobo.
The article I read (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...c-pro-successful-build-extended-guide.229353/) uses the ASUS Prime X299 Deluxe mobo which is a touch to much for me.
My question (obviously): Is the ASUS TUF X299 Mark 1 compatible with the other hardware and applicable on a Hackintosh build?
Thanksalot Aaroknight
