Anyone, anyone?

I have a Sabertooth Z77 based system working with Yosemite.
As suggested, try booting with the "-f" flag and/or "UseKernelCache=No"

"UseKernelCache=No" worked with me. thanks.

No luck with -f or UseKernelCache=No

Did a clean install and still no luck. Gonna get back to it after work tonight.

Any help with screenshot greatly appreciated.

Looking back at one of the things I did which helped and might for your issue - try backing up then removing the "/System/Library/Extensions/GenericUSBXHCI.kext/" kext file.

Given where it has stalled... A couple of other things come to mind:

- Do you have any USB 3.0 devices currently attached to the system or anything plugged into the 3.0 ports? I found this to cause me some issues while I was getting mine up and running initially.

- Does it stay stuck at that point or if you wait a minute or so do any more messages come up?

- Which SATA port is your boot drive connected to? I cannot 100% confirm, but you may have issues with the ASMedia 6gb (white) ports at unless you have the drivers installed from Multibeast - although I think that would probably present it self as a repeating "Still waiting for root device" error which would be following the point you showed in your screenshot.

- Are you running it through the onboard HD4000 video or a video card? I found the initial setup worked best using the Intel onboard video. I added my card back in after I got everything else up and working. (You might need IGPEnabler=Yes and GraphicsEnabler=Yes flags to use the HD4000)
Video drivers I think are the next thing to get loaded after the point in the screenshot you showed.

Updated bios to latest version.
Did another clean install
Multibeast (892, Intel ethernet, applecpupowermanagement + CMOS reset)

Slightly different hang. I'll post a screenshot in a bit.

I'm surprised so many Sabertooth z77 people are updating without a hitch... :(
