ASUS Sabertooth x79 Build with Yosemite

Just curious if anyone out there has a build around the Asus Sabertooth x79 mobo with Yosemite installed and have no issues with standby/power management, and overall stable and solid.
I'm planning my first build- don't need the latest and greatest, but definitely a socket 2011 6 Core system on a budget.

Yes. Find a patched DSDT if you want to go El Capitan. None of the USB ports work in El Cap. Yosemite was excellent on this board. El Cap is working great now that I got past the USB woes...

Prices for x79 aren't exactly looking cheap compared to x99 last I looked, are you finding the Sabertooth and 6 core cheap somewhere? Link?

I'm needing to do another build and am considering going Saber x79 again vs x99. From what I've read so far x99 in El Cap looks like a disaster, and the benchmarks aren't much better than what I'm seeing with x79....
