ASUS Sabertooth X58 Version 1402

Hi, there is a DSDT for Asus X58 for version 1304. The latest BIOS available is 1402 and I think that they don't will update it over again, so I've decided to make a DSDT for this release.

OLD POST

I have extracted the dsl file with Windows and I have disassembled it to an "aml" file.

I've patched and edited this new file based on the old DSDT, now I'm working with it, the problem is that bluetooth integrated in a card reader don't work (while old DSDT does) but cards reading/writing are OK.

I've attached the aml file unedited and edited by me, to see if someone who has more knowledge than me can edit it or tell me where are the error.

I just did a quick comparison of the 1402 and 1304 DSDT source and the only differences I can see are formatting and comments.

So you should be able to use the 1304 DSDT with no issues.

Hey MacMan thank you for your response and for your DSDT for x58

In your 1304 DSDT there are some devices that doesn't have the "mac name"

Example:

Line 2943 -> Device (PIC) -> Must be: Device (IPIC)
Line 3009 -> Device (TMR) -> Must be: Device (TIMR)
Line 4558 -> Device (OMSC) -> Must be: Device (LDRC)
Line 5039 -> Device (USB5) -> Must be: Device (UHC6)
Line 5079 -> Device (EHC1) -> Must be: Device (EHCI)
Line 5168 -> Device (UHC6) -> Must be: Device (UHC7)
Line 5208 -> Device (EHC2) -> Must be: Device (UCHI)

It's for some reason? (especially USB5 i've read that USB in mac are always UHC)

Also fan control in HWMonitor doesn't work with this, that was the reason for creating the new DSDT.

Finally DSDT working, with 1304 i have some problems to reboot/shutdown.

Thank you SO much for this post. I've been looking for this DSDT forever. Could you possibly post your boot and smbios plist files associated with this so I can compare? I continue to have startup issues with my Sabertooth X58.

I'm sorry for bumping old thread. Anybody got their USB 3.0 ports working?
I've used this DSDT and install NEC/Renesas USB 3.0 fix but still it's not working.
