What is your thoughts about hackintosh on this laptop? Have anyone had any great success with ASUS yet? I found long post with guys discussing their asus mackintoshes, but none of them made it work out perfectly. This will be my first hackintosh, so I do not have much experience with hackintoshes yet.

I hope you guys can give me some "protips"! Is there anything I should be watching out for?

So, it is a gen3 Core i-series, which makes it possible.

Audio generally depends on finding or creating a patched AppleHDA. Easy if you find one already patched that works, a lot of work if you have to patch it yourself. So, depending on your skills...

Bluetooth, WiFi, card reader, and camera will depend on the specifics of the hardware included, which are not specified above... Most of the time you don't know what you're getting until you get the machine in your hands.

Thanks for the answer I have never tried a hackintosh before, but I am looking for a nice project to work with. I have no programming experience, but I have heard that is not needed as much as it was before! I guess I can find a tutorial for the other versions of asus. They are getting more and more poppular, so maybe there will be another tutorial out when Mavericks-full is realesed
