I'm having a real hard time getting sound to work on this machine.
This is a new install "High Sierra," brand new hardware.
Here is what I did so far -
...So I follow the steps below to remove it -
I wanted try "SSDT-HDEF-3.aml," but still I'm getting this output from the command:
Like I said above the first time from a clean install, the command run, however no devices on a reboot. Now that I followed the steps to remove it, I'm still unable to re-run the command.
Here is my setup:
Motherboard -
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX CODE
Intel Z270 Chipset (series 200)
Audio: ALC1220 (based on the info. from this site)
Processor -
Intel i7 7700k (Kaby lake)
RAM -
32GB DDR4 3000
Storage -
500 SSD (MacOS 10.13)
500 SSD M.2 EVO 960 (Windows 10)
500 Mechanical (Extra space both Mac/Windows)
This is a new install "High Sierra," brand new hardware.
Here is what I did so far -
- Downloaded: SSDT-HDEF+-1.aml, and audio_cloverALC-130_v0.3.command
- installed SSDT-HDEF+-1.aml in "EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched"
- Run audio_cloverALC-130_v0.3.command
...So I follow the steps below to remove it -
- cloverALC, remove:
- Install native AppleHDA.kext with a kext installer (KextBeast) <- I pulled this kext from my working Macbook Pro 2016 Touch Bar, and installed it)
- or S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext/Contents/Resources/layout1.zml.zlib, layout2.zml.zlib, layout3.zml.zlib, Platforms.zml.zlib
- config.plist/.../KextsToPatch/AppleHDA (3x)
- EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.xx or other/realtekALC.kext
I wanted try "SSDT-HDEF-3.aml," but still I'm getting this output from the command:
Code:
"File: audio_cloverALC-130.command_v0.3
Release Mode
Password:
EFI partition is mounted
cp: /tmp/config.txt: No such file or directory
/Users/admin/Downloads/audio_cloverALC-130_v0.3.command: line 386: /tmp/gsid.txt: No such file or directory
cat: /tmp/gsid.txt: No such file or directory
rm: /tmp/gsid.txt: No such file or directory
System Integrity Protection status: disabled.
NOK to patch
Add config.plist/RtVariables/CsrActiveConfig=0x3 and restart
