Did anyone manage to make work any OS X on the latest ASUS RAMPAGE V EXTREME motherboard ? o_O
As I am planning to buy for video editing and Davinci Resolve…

Best regards

I'm also curious if anybody successfully runs OSX (Yosemite) on one of the new socket 2011-v3 boards like the mentioned Rampage V Extreme.

Could you create a guide step by step in order to install yosemite as you did?
thanks
regards

I read in another post that you have a working system.
Did you tried with your new GPU (Gigabyte GeForce gtx 970)?
Have you any suggestion for my installation?
Thank you in advance.
regards.

Asus rampage v extreme - advice - Stabalising

Got Yosemite running after following different posts, Haswell Temporary and our friend above. But it is not very stable and does not boot without usb key and and first boot command lines (without -x -v or -f arguments of course). No joy after installing NVIDIA web driver and nvda_drv=1 in place.
Running DSTD Free multi beast. Maybe need to make a dstd since none found on the web.

If you have a stable machine with my configuration, thanks for sharing

- Rampage V extreme
- i7 5930K
- 4x4 Go DDR4 RAM 2133 MHz
