Dear members

People with the asus p8p67 MB seems to have the same problem with the ob BT device.
When you boot in windows and then boot up into osx without turning the machine off the Bt onboard shows up. But if boot the computer from off mode it does not show up.

It seems to me that i need to define the device somewhere (in a Kext file?)

I can see this in my info when the BT shows up

Just add a small key section in the Info.plist of the Apple kext mentionned above;"

I don't have any help to offer, but I can validate your findings:

When I start up my computer straight to OSX, my Bluetooth card isn't recognized. However, if I start up with my Ubuntu 10.10 (64 bit) install disk, say I want to test Ubuntu and then restart in OSX, my Bluetooth is fully functional. I can detect it, and even transfer files between my laptop and desktop. The attached screenshot is what "System Profiler" comes up with when it's working.
