The VIA audio on the motherboard is not supported in OSX. So it is no wonder you cannot get it to work.

If you want to try, you may try using the VoodooHDA in MultiBeast. But it is hit or miss and may not work (reliably) for you.

Or, consider getting an USB audio device.

Did you use unibeast and multibeast? Also, which version of OSX are you on?
