Hello to all members here, its my first post and got a old Hackintosh with Mavericks from a friend who moved away from here.
I am having some problems:
installed is a GeForce G210 1024 MB and both monitors are working fine but no sound. When I open the "about this Mac" I see the audio on HDMI but opening System preferences there is not 1 audio device listed there.
Also the system will not reboot or shut down.
Also going to the download for the web drivers i am getting a download error

Is there someone kind enough to tell me what to do in solving this?
Please write it simple as i am far from a middle expert user and Mac is new for me beside a Macbook i owner many years ago.

Thank you.

The P5Q Pro has ALC1200, which is not supported - you need to use one of the VoodooHDA versions.
You do not need web drivers for the GT210 - that card is natively supported (or it was - Apple may have dropped support for it as being too old)
Have you tried putting your board model in the forum search engine?

Can you shutdown, power off and then do a cold boot from power on to the build?

No I can't shut it down, so need to disconnect the power first.
And maybe there is a way to get somewhere a legal image of El Captian? I have a Mac account but can't find it beside Sierra high which I think will not work on this older board.
Normal I am willing to pay for a legal OSX install

What system definition are you using for your P5Q?
If you are still using Chimera/Chameleon as boot loader it is probably MacPro3,1 and it is below the support cutoff point.
Suggest another hard drive so you can clone your working drive and experiment with the clone without messing up your working drive.

thanks and sorry for the long no reply, was out of the country.
I will get another hard drive and where can i find El Capitain? Is it for sale at the apple store?
I even see here with the search that Sierra, no Sierra high is possible.
When I go to the store I can't see it just a combo update on ML
