ASUS P5K ACL883 no sound since 1.8.2 update

Hello guys,

I've been trying to figure out how to get my on-board sound card working again since the 1.8.2 update.
I got an old ASUS P5K motherboard with a Realtek ACL883 on-board sound card. There are many threads for other ACL's but they (of course) don't work with mine.

I've tried all kind of older AppleHDA and ACL883 kexts but none will work either .

Hopefully there's someone who can help me with this.

No, but I'll try that once I get home.

Don't think it will work though, since I don't see the soundcard's input or output in the sound preferences.

it is a general problem, am having troubles with 898
fell back to 10.8 for now
and ordered a usb sound card
