So what i've done so far is roll back to mojave with unibeast/multibeast. i tried again to use your first files from yesterday (kexts, and patches and amended my config.plist to include your patches.plist). unlike yesterday, i was able to boot after, but no luck with the trackpad. Other than that, no patches applied yet. I am currently updating to catalina, but not sure what direction to go after that. Stick with Clover and try making it work there or get the necessary knowledge for OC. Also, what i dont understand yet, when using VoodooElan it doesnt work at all, when using voodooCHID i get at least the basic functions of the trackpad. Is that expected?
could be that you do need a bios update, but without your files, i have no idea

[TOOL] [GENERATE PROPER PROBLEM REPORTING FILES]

ok if i use above tool to generate? or do you need additional items?

Let me know if we need to take this discussion elsewhere - don't want to spam this whole thread.

i have moved our posts :)

if you just want to upload your zipped clover folder that will be fine

if you have installed macOS then in terminal, pop this in:
Code:
sudo kextcache -i /

and copy and paste the results here

Listen my friend.... I dont know how to thank you. Everything works flawlessly. I cant believe. I got goosebumps. You did not only make my trackpad work, also my Audio works now, i got a nice and cleaned up clover boot screen, it boots in like 10 seconds. I am speechless. Honestly. What you've done is simply amazing. I spent probably about 100 hours until i decided to reach out to you. So a) you probably saved my marriage b) made sure i can finally clear my head and focus entirely on my newborn and c) i am sure i can finally fall asleep at a reasonable time again.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you Feartech. Wish I could pay you back...

PS: maybe at some point I'll switch my Wireless chip as well and might reach out to you again. But as of now I just enjoy my life :)

PPS: I do know that spoon feeding is not what people should look for here. So I am even more grateful for what you've done for me...

mate! you are most welcome, not many peeps here with the same laptop as me :)

nice to help out!

also you may find your sdcard reader works as well :)

also i may be able to help you in your headphones if they sound rubbish as well as i have made adjustments to that.

also you should find that your media keys work? do you have play/pause as your down arrow key? pressing FN + down (and the brightness keys etc) should work as well

also i may have missed out in giving you a SSDT to disable your nvidia graphics (improves battery life)

pop the attached in acpi/patched folder

actually, also attached is ALCPlugfix, run that and reboot, and use layout id 17 in config.plist, you want to make it look like:
Code:
<key>PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1F,0x3)</key>
            <dict>
                <key>AAPL,slot-name</key>
                <string>Internal@0,31,3</string>
                <key>device-id</key>
                <data>
                cKEAAA==
                </data>
                <key>device_type</key>
                <string>Audio device</string>
                <key>hda-gfx</key>
                <string>onboard-1</string>
                <key>layout-id</key>
                <data>
                EQAAAA==
                </data>
                <key>model</key>
                <string>Sunrise Point-LP HD Audio</string>
            </dict>

EDIT, sorry, you will also need CodecCommander.kext in clover/kexts/other (attached)

Speechless - honestly... you're right. My media keys DO work. Amazing.... you must have spent weeks getting this to work. You're a genius.

I have done the other amends too. Mind telling me what that ALC thing is? Audio worked before already?
Also what Wireless module did you switch to? Need to see if i can get one in switzerland.
Thanks again. I‘m still shivering. Haha

lols, have spent a bit of time on this one :)

the ALCPLugFix, when you plug in headphones, sometimes it distorts the adio, sometimes depends on the video playing. and sometimes messes up after sleep

the ALCPlugfix fixes that issue, had to amend some code to make that work on my machine :)

the card i swapped out was for the BCM94352Z card, along with the kexts from the OC zip on page 1 i gave you, will make bluetooth and wifi work lovely :)

also, the only thing i couldn't fix was sleeping while plugged in to power, so i disabled that in energy saver settings

also , you may want to do these commands in terminal:

Code:
sudo pmset -a standby 0
sudo pmset -a autopoweroff 0
sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0
sudo rm /var/vm/sleepimage
sudo mkdir /var/vm/sleepimage

What did you edit? I'm curious because I have the same issue on my XPS 9360, and I've just been putting up with it.
