Asus Laptop G51JX Shutdown/Sleep broken in High Sierra

I had no issues in Yosemite. The issue started in ELC, Sierra and High Sierra, when I shutdown the screen goes black and processor/fans are still running, same with wake from sleep.

Included my DSDT patches, also using the PNOT-PPNT, IMEI and Fix Mutex patches from MacIASL. Tried the Shutdown and Wake patches in MAcISAL as well as Clover did not help.

Hi there,

I have an Asus N53Sv which had no issues under Yosemite.
I also have a broken sleep/shutdown under high sierra.

I’ve seen people getting this issue fix under their config.plist

Have you been able to find a fix ?
