System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)

Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution
For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

You can read post #1 for guidance on the backlight, assuming you have the Synaptics trackpad (you probably have ELAN).
As for display backlight control, follow the guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...ching-dsdt-ssdt-laptop-backlight-control.html
yes i have ELAN touchpad, but i cant find how to do it?
The ELAN touchpad driver is closed-source, so no idea... You should ask the author.
My laptop is working great, everything works... but the volume steps, brightness steps... how can i change them?
