Hi friends, Im fairly new here but I've got my build up and running with pretty much no head ache. I was told these machines could be unstable but I've found it far from that as far as OS. It boots fast and runs like a beast.
Asus z370a Prime
ADATA 8gb 2900 DDR4 (yeah I know, I need 16)
On board GPU
Samsung PM961 m.2
Samsung EVO SSD

Like most post here the ex3 was the only thing difficult to get going but I did it using Windows and booting with my UAD Apollo on and it was no issue. Pro Tools runs incredible. I did notice when my UAD DSP was high I had playback issues and thats not normal but could be a UAD setting if I remember correctly. I think it allows you to reserve an amount of dsp for playback. Will investigate when up and running again.
Today it stopped, seemingly at random, detecting the device. What possibly could have changed?
