I've been searching for a long time for this, can't seem to locate one anywhere. Anyone know if one is accessible? Samisnake already has the modded bios to flash for it, but a DSDT would be great to match with it. :(

Thanks.

Hi There, that board can work without a DSDT file. Make sure you patch the BIOS to get the native power management working.

Modded BIOS rom > http://biosrepo.wordpress.com/asrock/z77/

More info about modded BIOS rom > http://www.tonymacx86.com/dsdt/47397-msi-asrock-foxconn-1155-patched-bios-thread.html

If you still need the DSDT then download DSDT Editor from below link. Extract DSDT save it as .dsl file compress it and attach.

Thank you so much for this information. I looked over that guide earlier, but I was unsure about the fact that it might not need a DSDT if the bios had already been patched. You've helped tremendously.

I requested this patch, and I am glad that it came, improves stability like crazy. I need the dsdt to use sleep, and in turn to use the overclocking of my 2500k. Any luck getting the DSDT?

2K, extract a DSDT and attach it here ill edit it.

This board had sleep issues even using a DSDT with correct edits, but since the BIOS is upgraded lets give it a shot.

I will do as soon as I get home. I am also trying to get speedstep working with my over clocked i5,any ideas on getting that working also?

I compiled and saved the DSDT.aml using the dsdt editor. I hope you are able to get it working, thanks again!

2K, try the onboard HD3000 first and see if sleep works?

Attached DSDT is patched to match the 2nd Gen CPU with 7 series motherboard so HD3000 should work OOB.

This is to determine whether the issue is due to GPU or motherboard. I remember 550ti huge thread.

Glad to see that you're trying to help get this board's sleep working.

Alright, I took out the graphics card and booted up, but it wouldn't get to the login screen. Using verbose, it froze on the "volume 3,1 NTFS" or something like that. I am about to try it with the graphics card in.
