POST is very very long with this Mobo
IS there a way to make it quicker it ?
I suspect the Boot LAN capabilities .... that appears in the UEFI BOOT Option even after I previously & manually disabled them.

Thanks, I am pretty interested in your MB, could you be so kind to tell me what it’s working and what isn’t?
What isn't working (as far as know because I use)
  • Bluetooth
  • NVRAM needed for :
    • Installation for BigSur
    • Update for BigSur
    • Prefpane ➧ Startup Drive
    • Dualboot with Window10
  • Persistent Boot Option in UEFI as soon you plug an new drive (I use 6 SSD trays)

What I know is working
  • All SATA & NVME ports
  • Hot-plug
    • SATA (with patch)
    • Thunderbolt (with SSDT)
  • USB partially because I still didn't build a specific Kext
  • Ethernet
    • 1G
    • 10G (with patch for Big Sur)
  • Wifi
  • Optical audio output
  • iCloud, AppStore
  • SMBIOS MacPro7,1 without memory error
  • Sleep & Wake
What I don't know because i don't use
  • Sidecar
  • iMessage

Thanks! :) Probably BT (and Wi-FI) can work OOB if you get the right card instead of Asrock's one.

The NVRAM is really a big pain ... I hope it can be solved sooner or later.

What about power management? Sleep and wake?

Sure, but it's extra cost.

I want to believe that ;)

Power management is working,
Monitor sleep and wake .... I don't know about the computer .. i'll test
EDIT
In fact it works ➧ My Big Sur installation has left the Energy saver's first checkbox unchecked

@oli.mathieu, have you upgraded to BS 11.1 yet? And which OpenCore? I am still stuck on 11.0.1 on OC 063... Thanks!

Thanks, @oli.mathieu! After updating OC, can you update to BS 11.1 normally or using @TheBloke's workaround? Cheers!
No I didn't try updating
i did
  1. A clean install with BS 11.1 on spare drive
  2. Migration User account and Softwares
  3. Clone back on the original drive
